Before coming to Congo, it was hard to imagine what it is really like. And, tomorrow is the time to return back.  The last day of our trip, we went to another place in Congo - “碧多萊”. It’s a place build by 3 communities, 50 thousand people. It’s a difference between what they had seen previously. It was a picture of homes build with ‘yellow mud’.

It was a picture of homes build with ‘yellow mud’. today what they saw was being the work site, their first station was the clinic, workings were working hard under the blazing hot sun. It’s stated that in the future they will have 20 hospital beds which will serve about 13,000 patients, mainly for foreigner workers. “i also attempted to move the bricks, and realise that the heaps of mud  will eventually become ‘brickbat’. There’s one gentleman who initiated to take a picture with me with the bricks.”

Another work site is new school, whereby there’ll be 5 classrooms. When they arrive, the person incharge and a large group of people are already waiting under the hot sun. A group of excited kids started dancing, it was really lovable. Listening to them sing makes her felt so touched, and she almost cried. Before leaving, they also went to visit another family, the mother is a ‘white’. and being in a place where majority are blacks, it might be quite tough for her. Yet she appears to be very optimistic. Her vision isn’t very good, yet she still tailored to make a living. Her daughter is very caring and helps her mother to do work. Maybe become her mother is ’special’, the daughter is very sensitive to things around her. They gave her a “prince-doll”, yet she remained uninterested. Perhaps, cinderella isn’t really popular here.

Today, they look at the newly developed area and realise that there are actually many things that can be done. Re-calling what they have done during this 5 days here, there every bit of effort in this place, the people here, the kids and their family had indeed brought some big change.
