Live in Genting

Arena of Stars @ Genting, Malaysia. (My 2 cents of review)
Perfection over imperfection once again. A night of dazzle, surprises. How do I put it? 4 months ago when I came out from Singapore Indoor Stadium, I remained in a daze for 2 weeks. The flashes of her in Singapore Concert keep on appearing my in mind. That night was fantastic. And this time round, she gave her best once again, making those who are present there falling into a deep valley of love for her.
Although I sat quite a distance from the stage, I felt her presence throughout the 2.5h. It was a 3faced stage this time compared to the 4faced one in Singapore. And everyone gets to see her face throughout the concert. The band was below the accelerating platform, and there was a larger area of platform stage in front of the band for her to perform more movements of dances. Her dancing improved, making some of the audience at the back shouting “Yanzi, U are so SEXY!” at the tango 慢慢來.
The rundown of the songs are similar, however this time round, lesser songs were sang, which many of us felt disappointed. It was cold at Genting, but the 热情 of the audience warmed up the whole place, and her as well. At 1 point of time, she even took off her jacket because she felt simply warmed up by the audience. Her hair grew, and it was long, nevertheless, pretty. Throughout the concert she kept fiddling with her pony tail, making her look a like shy teenage girl. Of course, her mood that night was very good. Reason being is that she is nominated in Taiwan’s Music awards, and she expressed her joy at the beginning of the concert.
The guests that night are Tanya Chua and ZhangDongLiang. Tanya was also nominated for the Taiwan’s Music awards, and they congratulated and chit chatted with each other, forgetting they are in the midst of a concert. After that, they sang unplugged 陌生人 which again touched my heart. Next, they sang Ode To My Family by Cranberries. They chose this song because both of their families were present and they felt they whatever success they have today is due to their family’s support. And ZhangDongLiang appeared during the song 遇見, singing alongside with her.
She did not wear the yellow dress for this concert, and she kept emphasizing she put on 3kg and all the dresses are too tight for her now. Still, as pretty. During the “last song”, The Moment, she choked and could not continue with the first chorus. And tears could be seen in her eyes. The audience helped and sang for her. At the encore part, I think she said “人生的路很难说，如果有一个人在身边相伴，这条路也会走得更开心….” Upon hearing that, I felt a sudden surge of sadness. Her 天黑黑 marked the end of the concert. (I felt like stabbing myself because I did not stay on after the first encore, because I saw reports she came out for the second encore. Hai.)
So, what are the imperfections? Firstly, the sound system AGAIN. At many times her mike was inaudible. Next, her voice sounds extremely low and coarse at some songs, and I thought she maybe having a sore throat. But I guess that is not the reason but due to the sound system again. Yet, all these were covered by her performance that night, which touched the thousands who were present. The BIG yellow hands sponsored by Osim were also cute and funny. She liked it as well, and we could see a sea of yellow hands waving at the stage. Well, the concert ended and only memories left. Keep up the good work, and we will be supporting you, and awaiting for your next move.

I can’t make it there, I am far away in US. But, I can say that I have been there on last night, because your report already brought me into that atmosphere.

Our side was like more funni lo..being consistently asked ot sit down when we were standing on ground..but in the end..we stood on chairs instead!!! YanziUnlimited DaiHuai MYYanzi ppl..lolz!!
The sound system..nt too bad though. Onli tt 2nd half of MAnMAnLai was like abit..#^$&$
N..hmm..definitely beta than SG’s concert..tts wat i hafta say.
So high when after singing BEN..she said its the 1st time holdin concert in GEnting. Then..asked..thr’re sg fans right???? Then we screamed like duno-watt!!
We have a flashing SINGAPORE LED board..n we even brought along a SG flag..n was always flaggin it..WHHHAHA! Then..our pother LED boards were like touchlites lo..SOOOO bright!! N our 40cm super duper fat n bright Litesticks..WHAHAHA!
WHen she was singing SHenQi..we did the action that she taught us yrs ago..n she laughed. N when it comes to NanDeYiJian..we danced along during the concert..n she luffed again..hahah!
She was VERIIIIII happi thruout the whole concert!!! U can see her smiles!!! N she gav us applause..after singing WoDeAi..lolz..coz we sang realiii DAMN loud for tt..lolz! N b4 she started singing tt..we shouted..STEAFANIE..BONJOUR..kinda stuff..hhaa!
The part when the audience went gaga was..after singing 1st part of FIRSTDAY>.she announced tt it’s Wo SHou SHi Jian!!! Den ppl all rushed to da front..so HIGH lo!!!!
Then when all returned to their seats..our section..all were standing on the chairs..waving the litesticks..!
Then the guards came. we sat n stand..sat n stand..ground standin of coz.
Until..TheMom,ent..we heck le..all stand on chair AGAIN! MyYanzi ppl took out candles n lit them up..den YanziUnlimited ppl took out SG flag..AYzniU banner..our LED boards n Litesticks!!!
Then here comes our 1st encore. The screen was flashing intro of her band..her dancers…
We continued standing..!!! Then for MEngBuLuo..we squat on da chairs..den when she pointed to our side..we stood up..hahaha! N we stood on chairs onli durin chorus..coz..guards all thr!!!!!!!!!!
Then she sang Ti Orr..we were still on chairs..! LIghts on..ppl leaving..we continued makin noise..!!! SCreamed encore..AYzni..CHuLAi..!!!!!!!
Then I told them..let’s sing ourselves then..juz like what we did during Sg concert. We started on YanLEiChengShi chorus..den we sang YInXingRen chorus..!!!
At this moment..AHZI APPEARED ON STAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! Then she asked..”XianZai SHi ZhemYang??” Hahahz…then all those who were leavin.she pointed to them..n tel them dun come back. But they all chiong to the front too..hahaha..lotsa ppl runnin down the stairs..lolz!
Then she sand YinXIngRen. After tt..she sand the 1st line of HeReJunZai lai..n 4got the lyrix n sang YuJIan..lolz!!
SOOOOO high!!!!!!!
The reason being y her vocal was coarse at some parts..coz..of the thin air. We r on the mountains..WHAHAHA!
So coool! thanks for sharing!! i think this is the first time she sang yinxingren publicly eh?
Haha. I saw the group of Attract Attention GREEN LIGHT STICKS, and I know definately is the yz unlimited FC ppl.

OMG OMG!i so badly wanted to go!jus that i was having a lack of funds!can ya all like post in the YanziUnlimited forum next time about stuffs?sobs….THANKS FOR THE UPDATE GUYS.I COULD ACTUALLY FEEL THE ATMOSPHERE AND THAT MAKES MY WHOLE LIFE MORE MEANINGFUL.^^
That’s really great, Yanziunlimited and MYyanzi definitely did a great job. Because of all you guys, Yanzi managed to smile and laugh throughout the concert. Great job guys !! And ofcourse Yanzi’s Malaysia COncert is a success. So sad, didnt managed to go. But felt happy reading the entry too =)

heya ppl, i was there too but i dint see Myyanzi fans??anyone know wats the url for myyanzi cos the old page wasnt there anymore.. . i saw YZunlimited n god… hahah u guys are crazy.. if it wasnt for u guys started singing after the first encore.. she wouldn’t have come out… i remember heard her saying what u all singing or something like tht…
its my first time meeting yanzi after 6 yrs.. i liked her ever since tian hei hei but i was in aussie .. but i felt so lucky… for this concert.. came back home n still crying.. very touch :~)
wat i wanna know is.. did anyone stay around after the de concert.. did yanzi stay around… she actually look very much pleased to go back genting..like excited lil girl…awww yan zi…still cant recover back to my normal mode @.@ hehe

AFter the concert, she proceeded to Highlands Hotel level2 for ‘QingGongYan’, the Msian reporters said that it was something like a dinner. NO alcohols..WHAHAHA!
We went there but because of that bloody MAA thingy, no1 was in the mood to keep a lookout. And we left for our own hotel after waiting for like 30min.
She returned to Sg the very next day, reaching Changi Airport @3.21pm. A few of us took car home, leaving Genting as early as 8am, so as to be able to reach Changi Airport on time.
She arrived in Sg, with SunPapa, SUnMama n Jonah!!!!!!!!! Kia and Ryan(her elder sis and brother-in-law) drove back, probably with YanMei also.’
Anyway..MyYanzi ppl are those with yellow tops! They did’nt bring their banner along. Funny lah, no barricade to hang but can hold mahz..they chose not to bring…zzzZZ..haha!
I think FirstDay was the part in which drove everyone gaga loz..what a song to choose to shake hands..!! And people don’t really understand what is SHAKE! Many pulled, grabbed, touched her arms, squeezed or whatever…
Whahaa..our litesticks..veri heavy lo..those who went Padang concert hor..this time round it’s thicker and longer and brighter. Even b4 she finished singing KITE, my right hand alrdy canot tahan the weight and I used my left hand instead le. Then when it comes to BEN, i even used 2hands to wave the litestick..hahaha!
Ehh..anybody saw our SG flag???? WHAHAAHAHAH! MyYanzi not as AA as us lahz..we brot lotsa our barang barang thr..lolz! They rock also!!!
Hahahaz..we just continued screamin encore..sing YanLEiChengshi….for fun. Coz the possibility of her coming out again is like..near 0!

i went to the genting concert and she was reli awesome there…and the crowd that nite was sporting too…love the whole thing but too bad i miss the 2nd encore…so sad…
