新传媒新闻报道，YES 993在今晚举行的“醉心龙虎榜街头爆唱会”上，公布了新加坡金曲奖2007本地奖项的入围名单。本地歌后孙燕姿虽然入围了最佳本地歌手奖，却出乎意料宣布退出这个奖项。

除了孙燕姿，本地乐团新手迷路兵也入围最佳本地歌手奖以及最佳本地作词奖。迷路兵是去年SuperBand的总冠军，他们今年刚推出第一张专辑就成功入围两个奖项。

迷路兵表示，“超级开心，因为作词，我们一向都不认为我们的词是很好的。当时我们SuperBand Finals 的时候，我们得了冠军，也是这种表情，不知道怎么表达。”

新加坡金曲奖已经步入第13届，今年总共颁发28个奖项，其中包括新增设奖项，亚洲传媒大奖、年度人气大奖，舞台魅力奖、年度全方位艺人奖，以及年度本地杰出音乐人奖。

YES 933节目总监冯慧诗表示，“在这28个奖项当中，最受欢迎的四个奖项，有60%是根据龙虎榜上票选的成绩，40%将会根据网络的投票。”

孙燕姿也在爆唱会上宣布，从今年起放弃角逐最佳本地歌手奖，并将以颁奖人的身份出席典礼。

新加坡金曲奖2007将在10月27日，在室内体育馆举行。

Stefanie Sun announced that she will not run for the Best Local Artiste Award from this year onwards. She had previously won the award for five consecutive years.

“Rise” is the official Theme Song for the ASEAN 40th Anniversary celebrations.

This project was a major undertaking, featuring some of Singapore’s brightest music stars. “Rise” was composed by Singaporean music icon Dick Lee, arranged by award-winning local composer Kenn C., and was performed by Singapore’s pop superstar Stefanie Sun, who is accompanied by a cast of children from across ASEAN.

The music video made its debut at the ASEAN Day Reception on 7th August. The song and music video are available for downloading at the following links:
