虽然是新加坡籍的艺人，但孙燕姿的每一句话里都透露着对灾区人民的关心，透露着自己想要帮助他们的愿望。孙燕姿表示，“对于自己这次成都之行尽管有人赞成有人反对。但还是坚持要来，只是希望自己的到来能为灾区的朋友多一些的鼓励！”她还透露，“经常思考歌手来能起到什么作用，但最终决定她要来的主要原因是她希望能给灾区的朋友带来欢乐！
Together with Lee Hom, David Tao, Shin and Valen Hsu, Yanzi sang 手牵手, jointly written by David Tao and Lee Hom during the 2004 SARS period at the Sichuan charity concert.

LOVE is The Word to say to this people victim of disaster. A little help is an help anyway.
Yanzi gives her great talent to the people of Chengdu. That is a part of herself.
Open minded people is always beyond critics, there are no boundaries for open heart people and Yanzi is like that.
