Yanzi is generous, she loves people. She has an open mind, an open heart too.
I wish her all the best for her generous actions in Chengdu to all these people that needs to restart a new life. A smile on a kid’s face is a good reason for hope and generous actions.
Thank you Yanzi

As a self-acclaimed fan of Yanzi- I strongly feel that her music has been instrumental in my development of the last eight years. Grew up in china, it was rare to hear a female musician singing about love and her own experiences. Quasi state-run entertainment industry in mainland China can be more aptly called the department of state cultural learning. When I was 14, Yanzi came to the music arena with her characteristic voice, her incredibly good lyrics and melody. Suddenly, I was mesmerized by her, not to mention her good looks.
I know people in the past loved singers like Wangfei and Denlijun, and I was exposed to their music as well in my personal upbringing. Maybe I can relate to yanzi’s music more. Not only because she is in my generation, but also she is the first and only musician whose music I truly enjoyed.
Her generosity here touched lives of the less fortunate. Yanzi will continue to help shape the lives of those kids as she does mine.
