dear all
how was christmas?
Christmas Eve was a huge feasting affair, we had lobster, shrimps, mushrooms, beef, bee hoon, chicken wings all barbequed. My post greasy floor was less than appetizing but we had a jolly ho ho time.
We were all supposed to bring a 20 dollars (NT400, RMB100, Ringgit 40, HKD100?) gift and i had to pick a tic tac toe set. The initial excitement of playing wooden blocks of tic tac toe wore off after 4 rounds. I hope the person who got my thermal flask would find more mileage than 3 minutes.
How was Christmas for the rest of you? Merry? Uneventful?

Jolin and I are in the same company. I would not degrade myself to think any less of her so as to put me in a prettier light.
We aren’t best of buds, but we envy and encourage each other just as friends would. And we have this good thing going on. Don’t paint it otherwise.
Sure i probably won’t stick my limb out for her, but i feel glad that she has done so well for herself after much adversity. I too believe, that we both have the capacity and strength to work hard, and still find space in our hearts to feel happiness and respect for each other.
Jealousy is not becoming and this is a game I’m not interested to play.
This is my final response to our supposed ‘conflict’, I’m not ‘declining to comment’ when really, nobody actually asked.
ok, have yourself a merry little christmas! I have to go recording now.
Love

this year i decided to do an early shopping for xmas gifts.
Orchard Road is already all decked in gold and glitter (although i personally think it’s not that pretty this year),
and my fir tree is all embellished,
standing (very big and proud) in my living room.
I’m VERY PROUD OF MYSELF. I’ve got most ground covered and my album is right on schedule too.

HIYA!
how’s the going going?
I’m in Wuhan right now, doing a free lance performance later tonight. THE FANS AT THE AIPORT WERE….*speechless.
I forgot how friendly the ‘Wuhanese’ can be.
I’m sorry for not updating earlier as I have been otherwise occupied. Needless to say some of it official, some of it selfishly private affairs.
The new album is on the way. All of us are getting ready and increasingly excited by the day. If it shall not be pride that makes me a more conscientious singer, then it shall be vanity.
It’s getting cold, take care you all.

dear all
hi hi. This is my first message to you all here, how’s everything?
i’m in haining right now, weather is good, i sang pretty ok, the crowd looked happy. All’s good with me.
BTW, i don’t have to remind you again what words can do. Think before you say anything, because if you don’t, it usually comes out wrong and unintentional. We wouldn’t want that would we?
No games. No politics. No mulling over what’s lost or gained. We look forward, sometimes we stay awhile on the spot to enjoy the scenery. But the world doesn’t wait for us. So we have to keep going.
This is my new medium to talk to you, i hate sounding like a know-it-all preacher, so please don’t let me become one.
The entertainment scene is getting a little bizarre for me, and like i’ve said before, I don’t really know what everyone is looking for, but i’d better figure out what i want to do next. I had a lot of strength from you all, but i still have to learn to find strength from within.
Be good!

Dear all,
I know, it’s been a while since i’ve written anything here. And it will probably be a while before the next one. Like the Chinese saying goes, there isn’t a never ending banquet. It’s funny how people get attached to a whole web page.
I remember writing my first message. I was thinking about how i should write it, how it should sound, what it should say. And over time, the words just flowed. The stories just came, and the feelings just surfaced. I still haven’t met all of you, and sometimes we are just strangers typing away on our keyboards, in the office, on our beds, at our desks. The only thing that binds us, is the music.
The road ahead might be long and winding, but it might take us to another plane, another world, another moment to cherish. Life has been good to me and my stubborn optimism tells me, it’s not the end my friends.
I have kept some of the messages that had given me strength and inspiration, thank you all for being with me through the ups, and some downs.
This was a special place. The next one will be greater, bigger, and better, because we will be there. Let’s move on.
love,
yz

dear all
sorry haven’t been writing here as i have my personal blog to take care of. However it is non official and will be known to people who chance upon it (for now).
Have been busy preparing for the concert. Training and stuff.
I had received 4 cakes yesterday! and many many flowers, chocolates, champagne. Have to add that one of the most meaningful one came from a group of big hearted fans.
I do have such fabulous fans, i wonder what i did to deserve you?
This concert might most probably be the last stop this round. I wish it perfect and unforgettable. It gives me sleepless nights and teeth grinding nightmares. Let it be perfect.

Dear Stef
You.
There are thousands of people there for you aren’t there?
They love you. You can hear it on stage amidst the
reverberation, you can hear it when you pass them by,and
you can see it in their hand written letters and see it in
their twinkling eyes. And when you are upset they stand
by you, when you are in a good mood they happily back
in that moment, and when the world seems to crumble at
the seams they scurry to patch it up. Why’s that? Why you?
What do you stand for Stef?
When you tether on whether to give up just because the
rebellious streak is always there but ultimately, cave in to
all that is expected and obligatory, when you think you
sholud hold your head high but still lowered it to be in
line with humility and decent manners. When you try and
give but someone takes it away just because they can.
What do you stand for now?
This concert. It will be a tribute to all who shed light
throughout. Who believed that even when it rains,we still
stride forward,nothing in our way.It’s yours.And
everything that you stood for, everything that had meant
something, will be there, that very moment. Do a good
job.

Dear all
I am in a perfectly good mood. Not terribly perky, with the aftermath of jet lag and a busy schedule, but unhappy???? The last time i hear, journalism should be about reporting facts as accurately and objectively as possible. Nowadays it seems a wild and vivid imagination is one of the prerequisite.
I can’t say i’m good and all patient with nosy and unfamiliar reporters who seem all out to sensationalise and magnify whatever negative news they can get their hands on. But who’s blaming me for that?
see you soon.

Dear all
How is everyone???? I’m sorry if i haven’t been posting messages, my computer is cranky and i have been RATHER caught up with some stuff. Please help to paste this in other official websites as i am going for dinner in a while.
I’m glad i’m going for the golden melody awards. This year the focus seems to be on composing artistes and i do feel honoured to be placed with them.
I am starving.
Nothing much that i can update here, now. Next week might be a better week. Btw the chongqing fans are really on the ball. Reminds me of chengdu fans. I’m sure it’s their diet
i don’t know why a skinny girl like me has food on her mind everytime. IT IS DISGUSTING. GREED is one of the most abhorrent sins.
see you soon
