Together with Lee Hom, David Tao, Shin and Valen Hsu, Yanzi sang 手牵手, jointly written by David Tao and Lee Hom during the 2004 SARS period at the Sichuan charity concert.

她将在本地经纪人Marcia的陪同下，携带近万元的物质，亲自飞赴四川，并会到几个灾区，包括绵阳、都江堰等去探望。

孙燕姿这些日子来，虽然正忙于新专辑的筹备工作，但，看到四川的灾情，还是放下手上的工作，亲自飞成都一趟。

Marcia也透露，燕姿对四川的灾情一直很关心，除了捐款外，也很希望尽自己的一份力，她在探望灾区后，将留在成都，参与一项赈灾义演，“那是在星期五（30日）晚间8时在成都举行的，是一场官方的义演，由四川新闻办公室与大陆中宣部主导，官方破天荒号召中港台与韩星等近300名演艺人员共襄盛举。”

这场赈灾义演，参与的艺人相当踊跃，除了孙燕姿外，还有非常多的中港台艺人和韩星，包括张学友、刘德华、黎明、王力宏、陶喆、陈奕迅、许茹芸、伍思凯、郑秀文、许志安、杨千嬅等。

Yanzi will be visiting Chengdu on 30th May. She will also be performing at a charity concert to raise funds for earthquake-struck areas. Other performing artistes includes Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Leon Lai, Lee Hom, David Tao, Eason Chen etc.

howdy.
I know I know, I’ve been bad. Been neglectful, self-absorbed and carefree. But you know me.

First of all, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! My mom is making the 7th day dish. It’s made up of 7 vegetables (I think I’ve mentioned this before no?), and my grandmother used to make it for the whole family. I’m sure we would be missing her while stuffing our faces. Actually, even if we’re not stuffing our faces.

I’ve taken to fairy tales these days. Literary reads are too mind boggling. The last one i read was Seven Types of Ambiguity by Elliot Perlman. It took me a looooong time. Now this fella is self absorbed!! I’m just a peanut next to him. So now I’m reading Angela Carter’s fairy tales, probably meant for little pubescent girls but I don’t really care.

Today I went out for some errands and the shop assistant asked me when I’m releasing my next album. She said she was tired of singing the old songs over and over again.

!!??!!

I managed a polite smile and said “I don’t know.”

Serious stuff aside, here’s something trivial to share with my girl fans:
DO NOT GO FOR LASH EXTENSIONS.
I happily tried them out and have been regretting it 2 days after. They look hard and laquered and may cause EYE INFECTIONS. I had to take my little scissors and snip them away. So right now, half of my lashes are about 1mm short. Lovely.

alrighty, I reckon I would see some of you soon, and some, not so soon.
I hope I’m still your drug
